The event in Naples was focused on nutraceutical topics: the development of new pharmaceutical therapies from the chemical components of food, in a more or less purified state, considering just not their nutritional value (such as macronutrients, vitamins, cofactors and other dietary supplements), but also the added value of multifunctional biomolecules with potential direct therapeutic effects, due to specific interactions with certain molecular targets.
